HELLO, MY NAME IS EMILY.

A few things you should know about me:

• I am left handed, which translated into me writing backwards until first grade
• I broke my wrist when I was seven by falling out of a doorjamb
• I was raised in Northern Colorado, which means everywhere I go, I have a backpack, an extra layer, and a snack (just in case).
  
  Growing up, I always loved telling stories to help people find shared common ground; now I get to do the same for a living. I have spent the past three years on the Digital Marketing team at OXO, managing the company’s social media presence and consumer email program. And though I still write poetry and love telling stories, I no longer write right-to-left, and have managed to accomplish some other things along the way. >
